June 18, 2010 by DanicasDaily 6 Comments

Happy Friday all!  Today was a completely delicious day with a fun new Ellie Krieger Shortcut Collard Greens with Bacon Recipe that I tried as part of the Craving Ellie in My Belly Cooking Club I belong too.  I have to say that this might be my FAVORITE new way to make greens ~ slight salty, slightly sweet and with BACON ~ how can you go wrong?!

It was fun to put to the recipe together as a photo recap for Photo Friday ~ Enjoy!

Mmm! I’ve always wished I could find dark-chocolate covered pretzels–looks like I need to get my hands on some of that chocolate bark!

As good as those greens look, Canadian bacon is SO much better in Canada 😉

So glad you tried and enjoyed the collard greens! I wasn’t crazy about them at first (not sure about the greens themselves) but loved them leftover. I still think I prefer kale and will probably substitute that in next time, but overall, I really liked this recipe.
