“Pizza” Party ~ Annie’s NEW Organic Snack Mix!

June 2, 2011 by DanicasDaily 21 Comments

Happy Friday EVE all!  Thanks for sharing your Non-Scale Victories (NSV) on yesterday’s post.  You all are awesome and completely inspire me with all your successes.  Sometimes I find it really helps to step back and focus on the little successes we have each day.

Speaking of which ~ I feel like I have had an AWESOME on track week and I know my week has been a HUGE success no matter what the scale says tomorrow.

* I have tracked every single bite!

* I focused on lots of fruits/vegetables this week & meeting my healthy guidelines daily.

* I worked out actively (3 times) and inactively (2 times) this week!

* I am finishing my week with 31 WPA remaining!

* I FEEL “IN THE ZONE” for the first time in awhile & IT FEELS GOOD!

I am actually pretty excited to weigh in tomorrow because I feel like I really worked the program.  That being said, I know I had a big for me loss last week so I am good with whatever it shows.

Breakfast on the go on the train ~ 1 cup Quaker Oatmeal Squares (6 points+)

IMG_2678

My workout today was NO WALK IN THE PARK Winking smile I LOVE doing THIS Calorie Blasting Walk because honestly I think it’s tougher than running.  It’s a continue walk up a big hill with a few power/speed walks thrown in the mix.

Post workout I snacked on a Morning Star Maple Breakfast Sausage (2 points+)

IMG_2681

Plus a big bowl of fruit.

IMG_2682

I was STILL hungry after 20 minutes so I snacked on a Mini Babybel (1 points+)

IMG_2683

Today’s Lunch Box to save for our work game next week was Amy’s Tamale Verde.

IMG_2685

I honestly LOVE every Amy’s meal I’ve ever had because they taste like someone made them for you and they have REAL ingredients you can pronounce.

IMG_2686

9 points+ and worth it because it fills you up.

IMG_2687

I did miss having the CHEESE one, but, the black bean version is just as delicious.

IMG_2689

Served with a few veggies and ranch (2 points+)

IMG_2695

Dessert ~ Jo’s Dark Chocolate Sea Salted Caramel (2 points+) ~ I get a two pack at Pete’s and it looks like this. LOVE!!!

IMG_2701

We also had a “PIZZA PARTY” at work today!

IMG_2710

How cute are my co-workers?!  They totally set up our break room to make it look like a Pizza Bistro!

IMG_2708

We didn’t have pizza in the REAL sense, but, we did get to try TWO NEW Annie’s Organic Snack Mix Flavors that are coming out at SUPER TARGETS this month.

SNACK MIX #1 PIZZA made with Organic Valley Cheddar Cheese!

Pizza provides the distinct flavor of tomato, cheese and Italian herbs, all blended together then sprinkled on our baked Cheddar and Buttery Rich crackers and bunny-shaped pretzels.

IMG_2706

SNACK MIX #2 TRADITIONAL ~ think Chex Mix Flavors!

Traditional offers baked Whole Wheat and Buttery Rich crackers seasoned with the classic party mix flavors of Annie’s Worcestershire sauce, garlic and onion. Pretzels are added in creating a savory snack mix that is sure to be a party pleaser.

Fun fact—we’re using our own Annie’s Naturals Worcestershire sauce in the mix!

IMG_2705IMG_2709

To date my FAVORITE Organic Snack Mix was the cheddar….but, now, I think I am undecided.  I LOOOOOVVVEEEED both flavors!

IMG_2730

Both are 4 points+ per half cup.

IMG_2724

Not a single ingredient you won’t recognize ~ LOVE!

IMG_2725

I had two cups ~ Pizza on the left which reminded me of pepperoni pizza a little and the Traditional on the right which totally tastes like Chex mix.

IMG_2711

The Husband actually beat me home today and asked me what was for dinner (I LOVE it when he decides he wants to “cook).

I told him I couldn’t decide between two things

SALAD

IMG_2719

OR BREAKFAST

IMG_2717

So, he went with both….Don’t you all LOVE how he cut my sandwich diagonally in half?! He knows me so well (6 points+)

IMG_2718

I LOVE his fancy potato presentation too Winking smile

IMG_2716

My Mom and Dad always thought I was weird growing up because whenever we would go out to eat, I’d ALWAYS get a salad with ranch to go with my breakfast.  I LOVE the combination and the fact that he gave me both things since I couldn’t decide Open-mouthed smile

Topped with 2 Tbsp BoltHouse Yogurt Ranch & 1 Tbsp Sunflower Seeds (3 points+)

IMG_2723

NEW AT FRIENDS FOR WEIGHT LOSS

* Bacon, Bean & Cheese Stuffed Peppers that you can even make vegan & vegetarian!

Q’s

Sooooo…..do you think you all would be interested in a NEW Annie’s Snack Mix Giveaway so you can have your own “pizza party”?

Just one more day ~ woohoo!

Night all!

I am so jealous of your job! Its my dream, seriously!

I tend to like pizza flavored things more than pizza itself. Do they still have those pizza flavored pringles??? Loved those! You really dont need to ask if we want a giveaway….I think no one would object to your generosity.

I love Amy’s, I just don’t love paying for Amy’s. They are a little costly.

I recently bought the original snack mix at Costco in the individual packets. I hate cheez its, but I love Annies mix. Maybe its the organic valley cheese!! I’m using Organic Valley Soy Creamer in my iced coffee now. Trying to save on points. Its zero points for 1/4 c.( 4 tbls). not as rich and creamy as my half and half( 2 points), but its passable. I really like the organic valley products.

I love Annie’s bunny crackers and I look forward to trying both of these. I would especially love to try the chex mix style “traditional” flavor because I could pretty much eat chex mix every day 😛
