Planes, Trains and Automobiles….

November 11, 2011 by DanicasDaily 8 Comments

Happy Friday all!!!  We are officially off and on our way to Hilton Head, South Carolina.  We actually started out on the train and now we are in the airport.  Once we land in Miami we will be driving for 8 hours up to Hilton Head ~ crazy, but, I know it will be totally worth it!

I guess it’s more like Trains, Planes & Automobiles ~ we took a shuttle bus too LOL….

I live in Celebration, FL, next to Kissimmee. Let me know if you need any restaurant ideas! Drive safely, have a good trip!

You need to stop in St. Augustine, FL on the drive up from Miami to Hilton Head. Great little city with mucho places to eat! Enjoy your trip.

WELL! We love to eat out so here’s a few right now and I will try and think of some more:

4 Rivers BBQ and Bubbalou’s are our favorite BBQ places (my boyfriend is a huge bbq fanatic. http://4rsmokehouse.com/ & http://www.bubbalous.com/

My FAVORITE sushi place is Amura. They have a few locations, but I have only been to the one downtown. http://amura.com/

This is a fun place, the menu changes with the season. The patio in Dr. Phillips is my favorite. http://www.seasons52.com/about_us.asp

Ale House is an Orlando staple. It’s just a sports bar, their “zingers” are chicken fingers and yummy and so unhealthy haha. http://www.millersalehouse.com/

And Celebration is an adorable town right next to Kissimmee…it is a walking town with little shops and beautiful lakes. This is a Boston themed restaurant, perfect for my boyfriend because that is where he’s from. The turkey stacker or meatloaf stacker are our faves. http://www.thecelebrationtowntavern.com/

Downtown Disney and City Walk are fun places to go, they have restaurants and shops and shows. Not sure how long you will be in the area or just passing through but I can think some more and give you some more suggestions too! Hope this helps!
