Happy Biggest Loser day all!  I can’t believe it’s time for the FINAL FOUR tonight, but, at the same time, I can’t wait.  I am totally CHEERING on both PURPLE GIRLS ~ They have been my favorite from the start and I want them both there in the end.

Honestly though ~ every single one of them looks amazing and every time I watch, I want to get out there and work out harder….M-O-T-I-V-A-T-I-O-N!

My pre-workout 5 am snack was a banana berry bowl with a 1 points+ Jennie-O Lean Turkey Sausage.

I rocked another C25K jog/walk!  Speaking of 5K’s ~ If anyone in Atlanta wants to join me for the Weight Watchers Walk-It Challenge, we are doing a 5K in Atlanta on 05/22 ~ email me!

Post workout ~ Two delicious Taco Egg Muffins (5 points+)

Today we celebrated my co-workers birthday at lunch.  I was pretty excited when she picked Café M because I LOVED it so much the last time we went.

The BEST thing about having lunch with co-workers is when they want to share with you so you can try more than one thing Open-mouthed smile

I was a little bummed that what we picked just wasn’t tasty enough to be worth the points+.  I think they are probably known more for their breakfast, salads & burgers.

Half a Chicken Quesadilla….(7 points+)

IMG_1070

Entrée #2 was just ok ~ really dry without too much flavor…we split this Turkey Club (no mayo) and I had a small handful, about 10 fries.  (8 points+)

IMG_1071

I was really glad when we divided the birthday treats into small bites so I could have a taste without blowing my points+ budget.  My pictures make them look big, but, they really were just bites lol.

1 Brownie Bite (2 points+)

Lemon Bar Bite (2 points+)

When I got home, I had one of the COOLEST PACKAGES I’ve ever received in the mail Open-mouthed smile

Last year the folks at Creative Homeowner contacted me to ask permission to use some of my recipes in their Char-Broil America Grills Cookbook!  Of course I said YES!

You all know I LOVE my grill and not just because it means less dishes.  I couldn’t wait to share the news with you all and now I finally can.

The BOOK is finally out and they printed my recipe ~ yeah!!!

IMG_1085

This America Grills! Cookbook is AWESOME ~ it has a full color picture for EVERY SINGLE RECIPE along with the sides and I guarantee they will have you drooling.  As we were browsing it tonight, we were pretty much like, I want that and that and that……..

I LOVE the description they used to describe Danica’s Daily ~ how true it is! Open-mouthed smile

IMG_1101

They had chefs test out all the recipes and professional photographers stage it/take the pictures.  It looks so good (actually all the recipes in the book look amazing!)

They used my Creamy Grilled Chicken Marsala, but, I want to use their picture now LOL.

IMG_1088

SO COOL!  Yes, I totally geeked out seeing my name Open-mouthed smile

IMG_1087

Just when I didn’t think I could be more excited, I saw the index Open-mouthed smile

IMG_1102

I LOVE My MOM! When I told her I was officially “published’ in a real cookbook, she went out and ordered the book, then, texted me asking if I’d sign my page in her book Open-mouthed smile

For those interested in buying the book, click HERE.  I will be hosting a giveaway soon so you can win a copy for yourself too!

I WISH I was cooking tonight because I would’ve totally grilled to celebrate LOL.  But, we are working on being less wasteful so we had delicious leftovers.

Super Cheesy Mini Meatloaves (7 points+)

IMG_1091

1/2 cup Healthier Potato Salad (3 points+)

IMG_1089

Pile ‘O’ Mixed Greens topped with 1 Tbsp Fat Free Balsamic (0 points+)

So, you know I have to ask it, right?! Complete this sentence I LOVE MY GRILL because……

I LOVE MY GRILL because it makes healthy, yet, tasty food with ZERO dishes to wash Open-mouthed smile

I have a super sweet Wordless Wednesday from The Husband coming up tomorrow.

Night all!

I’m with your mom – sooo proud of you! Congrats.

I love my grill because somehow after a very long winter of “casseroles”, “comfort food”, “slow cooker cooking”…it seems food just tastes fresher and better cooked (and eaten) outdoors. It helps that you can burn the paper plates while you roast your marshmallows for dessert ;0)

Major CONGRATS, Danica. Now I’d like to see an entire cook book with your recipes. If Hungry Girl can do it over and over, so can you! I’m with you, grilling means no dishes! That;s why I grill the chicken, the veggies, fruit and corn all on one BBQ
