Happy Friday all! I’ve been looking forward to Friday all week because I am ready for the weekend. I totally blame it on the fact it’s my first week back post vacation. I am also pretty excited to head to my WW meeting because I’ve had a solid week back on track. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt like I cannot wait to weight in.
I woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise.We had healthy eggrolls and half an orange for breakfast (3 sp).
I tossed together this ham & cheddar salad with 2 Tbsp sunflower seeds, 1 tsp olive oil and fig balsamic for lunch (6 sp).
I started with pomegranate seeds for dessert.
But, I really wanted a piece of chocolate so I visited our candy jar for the first time this week. These Lindt chocolates are 4 Smartpoints each….I think I’d pick something else next time as I don’t love them enough to to spend 4 points.
I felt super snacky this afternoon and after waiting 4 hours after lunch, I had 1/2 a Trader Joe’s cashew pack then went back for the rest (6 sp).
I do wonder if I walked or worked out at lunch if I would not have felt that way.I knew I needed something with staying power for dinner but The Husband really wanted BLTAs.
My compromise…putting an egg on top for zero point protein power and I am finally full!
