This week’s #FlashBackFriday will give you a few new ideas for your next Beer-B-Q.
I had a blast this past weekend Cooking with Beer and I honestly have to say the New Belgium beer really took each dish to the next level flavor-wise. If you want to venture out on your own beer Fest simply use beer in place of any liquid ingredient in your recipes.
You will find all the recipes and fixin’s you need below if you want to decide host your very own BEER-Beque. Enjoy!
I haven’t yet updated the WWFreestyle SmartPoints on all these recipes.
Honey Chipotle Beer Barbecue Sauce
Used on Chicken Legs, 3 points+ each
Slow Cooked Chipotle Beer Baked Beans
Chipotle Cheddar Beer Corn Bread Muffins
I served up this tasty Creamy Clean Eating Coleslaw to cool the heat at my BEER-BBQ. The only change I made was to add a little pineapple for sweetness and cilantro.
Here are a few other “fixin’s” that would be awesome served up at your Beer-BBQ!
Simple Green Salad Ideas served up with Balsamic Vinaigrette
Organic Mixed Greens with Mozzarella Balls, Cherry Tomatoes and Basil
Organic Mixed Greens with Raspberries and candied pecans
Serve it all up with ice cold beer straight from the bottle.
Click any of the highlighted words above to navigate to the recipes listed.
Thanks again to Foodbuzz and New Belgium for giving me the opportunity to Cook with Beer as part of the tastemaker program.

I am not a professional chef, just a retiree who enjoys cooking and gets a lot of compliments on the results. My friends and family often ask for the recipes so I am starting a blog (http://boyle-over.blogspot.com/) to accommodate them and my own ego. Who knows, if it goes well I will turn it into a book and donate a good deal of the proceeds to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. But I digress.
The reason I am writing is to ask your permission to use some of your recipes on my blog (and book if I get a Hemmingway inspiration). Of course I would include the name and address of your web site, probably a link directly to it if I can figure out how. I know many people probably just cut and paste your recipes but I like to ask permission first.
If this meets with your approval please let me know via email or regular mail. I would really appreciate it. By the way, please take this as my permission to use any of my recipes under the same conditions, referencing me and my blog address.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Thank You
Ed Boyle
