Hi all! Two words I said all day “stay safe” and Three words for this post….What a day. When I mentioned this week being a crazy, busy week yesterday, I didn’t exactly mean like this. My phone started ringing at 4 am this morning with notifications from several of my coworkers and friends being evacuated due to the Napa and Sonoma fires. Everyone is safe which is the most important thing but several people have family members who have lost their homes with so many great businesses including local wineries burning to the ground. It’s been a sad day but we have an amazing community that I’m proud to be a part of. Lucky for us, my coworkers and I already had a chance to test out our emergency procedures during the 2014 Earthquake so we were prepared or as prepared as we could be.
The Husband did an awesome job in taking care of me in between his jobs while we worked through everything.
My Jack – O – Lantern Eggroll – yep that’s Sriracha lol (5 sp).His first attempt turned out a bit scarier haha – love him! His eggroll.Paired with a bowl of berries. He forgot his cell phone at home in the midst of the chaos so he managed to work with the girls at Starbucks to create my usual drink. I love that they all got it right and he surprised me with it.
Grande iced Nonfat Latte with caramel on top (3 sp).My mid morning snackage involved 2 Mini 1 Smartpoint cheese ball bags. (2 sp)I actually took a break at lunch at 2pm and got us Chipotle. I did give into a few of the shared chips with guacamole that I’m counting as (6 sp).
Here is what’s in my bowl:
Lettuce, fajita veggies, chicken, corn salsa, pico de gallo, 1/2 serving cheese, hot sauce on the side and a small flour tortillas (10 sp).We went with simple for dinner as we were both exhausted – BLTAs and salad!
1 slice Nature’s Own Butter Bread topped with 1/8 avocado, romaine, tomatoes & 2 slices Trader Joe’s 1 Smartpoint Bacon (5 sp)Plus 1 cup leftover Apple Slaw (2 sp).33 Daily Smartpoints, 4K steps
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted. Sending positive vibes. Even though much of the pictures and news looks like the end of a Terminator movie, let’s see what tomorrow brings.
Night all!

My heart breaks watching the news with the fires there and in Anaheim Hills in SoCal. Our firefighters are amazing, putting their lives on the line to save all they can. Please check in occasionally so we all know you are safe.
