Take Me Out To The Ball Game….

August 12, 2010 by DanicasDaily 7 Comments

….Buy me some peanuts……

….and Cracker Jacks! 😀

😀 Ok, I’ll stop LOL…..Each year our company takes us out to a Giant’s Baseball game!  It’s awesome because well ~ it counts as a work day ;), but, really, who wouldn’t want to go have fun at a Ball Game and eat delicious food!

I have been sort of having an “attitude” problem lately with my eating and told myself that today, I can have a day without caring and without counting points….basically like I used to have when I did BFL and gave myself a FREE day.

I learned that although my eating might’ve been a little random, it was still fairly healthy considering I could’ve had GARLIC FRIES, NACHOES, ICE CREAM and so much more.

Stop #1 ~ a Grande FF Decaf Latte with caramel drizzle.

Starbuck's Iced Grande Latte

Plus 1/2 of this Zucchini Walnut Muffin.

We all met up at the office and bused over to AT&T Park.

AT&T Park

I always LOVE how all the kayaker’s hang out in the water just hoping to catch a home run ball :)  My favorite were two guy’s who brought a floaty for their cooler 🙂

San Francisco Bay

Stop #3 was upstairs where we had a catered lunch.  BBQ Chicken ~ Looks good, huh? Tasted awful ~ like ketchup chicken and it was cold :(  The Husband and I both agreed to toss this after 2 bites.  It’s funny because I thought the same thing last year.

BBQ Chicken

I went back for a 2nd plate of salad and pasta salad that was tasty.  The only dressing option was ranch so I went with it.

Salads

The View from the Club Level where we ate lunch was beautiful…..it really was the PERFECT day in San Francisco ~ 60 degrees, but, warm with a slight breeze and totally clear.

We totally cheesed it up like Saddie Hawkin’s and wore matching Giant’s shirts to “root, root, root for the home team” 😀

I think we pulled it off pretty good though because our pics showed up in the Fan Gallery too 🙂

Jay & Danica

After turning into a lobster the 1st 7 innings, I decided I deserved a treat….I LOVE Shaved Ice and Snow Cones….out them on a table with ice cream and I’d pick them every time 😀

Snow Cone

The game was actually really good ~ both teams were tied and ahead, but, the Giants pulled off the win in the last inning!

The drive home…not so much ~ with traffic, it took us over 2 1/2 hours.

We both were put our brains together to put together this totally random, yet, delicious dinner.

Frozen Edamame Vegetable Chow Mein.

Corn and Watermelon!

Told you random, but, really good and totally filling.

For those wondering about this week’s WORDLESS WEDNESDAY ~ The Husband drew the little stick figures on our calendar to show us swimming and snorkeling in the ocean on our vacation.  He also put stickers on the calendar to mark our trip LOL.  The Best part about this picture though, is that our 6 year old nephew came over and was all “Uncle, how did you know to draw me swimming with you?!” So CUTE!

LAST CHANCE TO ENTER TO WIN A SAM’S CLUB MEMBERSHIP & $25 TO SPEND!

I am SO GLAD tomorrow is Friday ~ I cannot wait for The Husband’s Birthday weekend to begin!  I suppose I should get his gift first though 😀

Night all!

I don’t know what Ling Ling potstickers are, but I want some! The noodle stuff looked very good too. I’ll have to get more adventurous when we get to Florida.

    Hi Debby,

I bought them at Costco – both of them actually. I can’t remember the name of the chow mein, but, you can see what the ling ling potstickers look like here – they have great stats and real ingredients!

Boooooo!!!!!! I wish the Cubs won, but well, they are pretty horrible this year! At least they gave it a good shot. Went to a Cubs/Dodgers game in LA on vacation in July and we lost horribly. Dodgers pulled out the win 7-0! Ugh, we left after the 7th inning. We couldn’t take it anymore!

But wow! Beautiful day! Glad you had fun. And wow, those kayakers! That’s too funny!
