The Village

August 7, 2018 by DanicasDaily Leave a Comment

Hi all! How was your day? My day was actually super productive and good despite having every muscle in my body sore from yesterday’s Toned & Tight class. I know it’s a good thing and I can laugh as I brace myself to sit or pick anything up that I have to bend for. I think it’s awesome my coworker is sore too so it’s not just me and we both had a few good laughs in passing today while trying to walk normal.

Breakfast today looked alot like yesterday. As I made up another 1 Smartpoint Ham & Veggie Scramble.I decided to rest my muscles today and head out to lunch at Village Pizza & Grill with my coworkers.

I love the little town we work in as so many places have cute outside dining areas. We started off sharing the Mini Baja Fish Street Tacos.

Mini tortillas topped with grilled bass, cabbage, pico de gallo, avocado and chipotle crema. We also shared this Grilled Chicken Kebob Wrap that was so delicious.

Homemade Flatbread topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, grilled chicken breast and a mustard sauce.I love sharing because it helps to keep my portions in check and I get to try everything.

I counted 11 Smartpoints for my plate including the side salad. On my drive home, I snacked on a small banana and Nectarine.

The Husband had “cooked” dinner and had it ready when I walked in.

I topped my salad with 1 Tbsp Trader Joe’s Spicy Peanut Vinaigrette (2 sp).Plus a slice of Lazy Chicken Enchiladas for 7 Smartpoints.21 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 6K steps

Off to read, relax and head to bed early as we are picking cucumbers and melons from our fields at work tomorrow at 7 am sharp. I’ll tell you more tomorrow. I can’t wait!

Night all!
