Happy Half Year all! Have you all thought about what you want to achieve the second half of the year? If you think about it, it’s like we all get the chance to assess where we are and where we want to be without all the pressure we put on ourselves at the beginning of the year.
For me, I am ready to get back in the “zone” and find my groove. This month, I am drinking a minimum of 64 oz water and tracking 100% with a goal to have less than 3 meals out each week. I am also focusing on 30 minutes of activity on most days of the week to include strength training. Bring on the Jillian workouts!
On that note, my weekend was super fun even though it was so hot outside. I got in a Tower Hike climbing 80 floors, went to the farmers market, did a little shopping and logged 22K steps on Saturday. It looks so much prettier when it’s green.Before heading out to hike, I had a 6 inch Subway ham, cheese & veggie omelette tossing the bread. Post hike, we had Buddha Thai! Then, I balanced it out by cooking dinner in making Honey ginger pork over rice.
It was hot and I had so much water that I sadly couldn’t eat much Thai. I know that’s a good thing but….lol. I am proud I gave the leftovers away.
Saturday Snap:Today we were up early to head to the Alameda Antique Fair. We shared a bacon, egg & pico burrito and had Jack’s Urban Eats for lunch. I made nachos for an easy dinner after we had a lazy afternoon.
