Happy Saturday all! I can’t believe I am almost done with my first full week of the Weight Watcher’s PointsPlus Program and I absolutely LOVE it. I honestly cannot remember a week that I have not dipped into my extra points and have felt so satisfied. I really feel like Weight Watchers did an awesome job nailing the “lifestyle” aspect this time because I haven’t felt deprived or like I am on a diet. I mean…..just check out today’s eats as one example. I didn’t eat perfect, but, I ate REAL….what I wanted, when, I wanted it, how I wanted it.
I really wanted to crave something sweet this morning ~ I had visions of Biscoff Spread with sliced apples and Trader Joe’s Fat Free Multi-Grain Bread making an “Apple-Wich”.
But, in the end, my usual “Egg-Wich” won…I mean, it’s so good, how can you NOT LOVE it (5 points+)
Plus some apple love for ZERO points.
The perfect breakfast….fast, easy, satisfying.
Before The Husband and I headed out to pick out “rocks” for our artificial grass that is going in, we stopped for lattes. Grand Fat Free Decaf Nonfat Latte (3 points+)
While The Husband and his friend worked to install our new lawn, I had fun spoiling hanging out with my 9 year old Niece.
I am not even sure how we ended up in safety glasses, but, she thought it would be fun and asked that I posted them on the site (ummm, you can’t refuse an offer like that, right?)
I consider myself to be pretty up on technology, but, it took her a matter of like 5 minutes to show me around how to use our web cams, complete with creating home videos using Wall-E and Eva…oh and the Happy Holidays Sign was used for the title LOL. It was such a fun afternoon being a “kid” again….. LOVE!
I told her for lunch we could MAKE anything we wanted, but, she said she really just wanted pizza from our local place. Eh, a girl can try, right?
Nope, she didn’t even come close to having a single piece of the Basil Pesto Veggie pizza I picked. Too many veggies & “Green Stuff”
I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t have pizza in a while or not, but, this was honestly the BEST VEGGIE PIZZA I EVER ATE. (2 slices = 13 points+, used to be 8 – WOW, but, worth it!)
Since The Husband and his friend ate TWO Pepperoni Pizzas for lunch he wasn’t hungry for dinner. I pondered cooking for me, but, in the end, I decided it was a cereal night
1 cup FiberOne Honey Oat Clusters (4 pts+)
1 Banana (0 pts+)
1 Tbsp pumpkin seeds (1 pts+)
1 cup fat free milk (2 pts+
Isn’t it crazy that even after a pizza filled lunch, I STILL had points left….Have, I mentioned I LOVE Weight Watchers PointsPlus yet?!
Dessert, really was just 2 tablespoons of Biscoff straight from the jar (4 pts+). I put the apple back.
Q’s:
1. What was included on the BEST pizza you’ve ever eaten?
My favorite type of pizza has to be any vegetable pizza that is loaded with cheesy goodness, lots of crunchy vegetables, good crust and lots of fun toppings (pesto, crushed red pepper flakes, etc.) Today’s pizza is definitely off the charts good!
I am SOO EXCITED for weigh in tomorrow morning – wish me luck!!!
Night all!
My favorite pizza these days is a local place that makes an amazing thick crust buffalo pizza served w/ blue cheese dressing on the side. I had a slice and a half tonight w/ 3 TBS of blue cheese for my birthday 🙂
17pp for the pizza and 6pp for the dressing. I usually only have 1 slice @ 11 pp and 1tbs of dressing for 2pp but it was my birthday so I splurged!
Your veggie pizza sounds delish and I do love veggie pizza w/ cheese, just been on this weird buffalo kick lately.
Good luck at WI tomorrow…I’m sure it’ll be great!
Oh my!!!! That pizza does look good!!! Your niece is adorable!
There’s this really good white pizza at a local Mediterranean place. It has feta, tomatoes, spinach, olive oil and garlic. IT’S SO GOOD! I love the crust. Otherwise, I love caramelized onions on my pizza. Mmmm…
My most favorite pizza right now is the homemade one I’ve been doing with a cauliflower crust. Sounds weird, but oh so delicious and you’ll have point from the cheese in the crust, but not bread points.
The scale has been moving down this week, official weigh in tomorrow am. Since it is moving so well, I decided mid week to use all of my 49er points and a few of my activity points this week. And I have been doing it on purpose. I figure, if they give them to me, I want to use them. So on weeks when things may be harder (travel, holiday, etc) I will know that I can use those points and still lose weight.
It’s kinda funny because I feel like I’m cheating, but I’m not. I’m just deciding to have a piece of chocolate and glass of wine at night, going over my dailies into my 49ers.
I’ll tweet the official weight tomorrow.
Wow, I don’t even like half the stuff on that pesto pizza of yours but it sure looked good! Probably because I haven’t eaten pizza in FOREVER lol. My absolute favorite pizza comes from the local Italian place…it’s got grilled chicken, cheese, alfredo sauce, and spinach leaves all on an awesome handmade buttery crust. It is uh-ma-zing!
Your niece is so cute!! LOVE that pizza, too! You’re doing great on POINTS +, Danica!
That pizza looks so yummy! I’m so excited to start the new program this week!!! My Thursday W W meeting can’t come soon enough!! (ok, maybe a bit dramatic….but still, looking forward to it)
I haven’t really met a pizza I didn’t like. Will have to look for a recipe for the cauliflower crust unless someone has one they can share?
Jenni, check here for a cauliflower crust recipe-

I’ve been making my pizza at home lately using an ALDI’s brand Fit &Active Original Wrap. Prior to the switch to WW PointsPlus, it was only 1 point, now it’s 2, but it’s still a deal! The wrap is pretty big- 9″X8″.
Fat- 2.5
Carb- 16
Fiber- 9
Protein- 9
(Calories are only 90)
I also use the ALDI brand Turkey pepperoni, some jar sauce (sometimes pesto), a little bit of cheese and whatever veggies I have in the fridge.
I just came across your blog in the last week and I love it!
Mo
Your niece is sooo cute. Haha, I laughed so hard about the Biscoff. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Best pizza? That’s hard. Probably a simple one in Italy.
LOVE YOU
When I was still a meat eater, I would LOVE to eat CPK’s bbq chicken pizza. Yummm. If only they made BBQ tofu pizza…
