What’s on your Christmas List?

December 13, 2010 by DanicasDaily 15 Comments

Happy Monday all!  Thanks for all your nice comments and congrats on my loss this week and congrats to everyone LOSING out there ~ I LOVE reading about your losses ~ it’s totally motivation.

I also LOVE reading your menu ideas every week because it makes me want to make like everything you cook.  I actually think Cooking Light was on board today with temping my taste buds with THIS Spicy Noodle Dinner Tonight Dish.  This is so going on our menu soon!

This morning I was totally rushing out the door so I literally threw everything in my bag to make up at work including my entire HUGE container of leftover soup Open-mouthed smile

IMG_3268

Since I’ve been using this container in recipes, I knew there was exactly a 1/2 cup left

(ONLY 1 pts+) ~ LOVE that there are no 1/2 points anymore Open-mouthed smile

IMG_3269

I added a ZERO point+ banana plus a tablespoon sprinkle of Pumpkin Spice Granola (1 pts+)

IMG_3271

Small Agave Nectar drizzle (2 tsp = 1 pts+)

IMG_3272

Lots of cinnamon in a “recyclable” no wash dish Open-mouthed smile  (3 pts+ for the entire container)

IMG_3273

I have been wanting to eat this Sourdough Raisin Pecan Bread ever since I picked it up on Friday.

IMG_3161

5 points plus for 1/8th of the loaf.

IMG_3162

I figured it was “worth” it to pair it with my breakfast parfait.

IMG_3163

It’s totally loaded with nuts and raisins = <3!

IMG_3164

1 HUGE Slice toasted with 1 teaspoon whipped buttah!!! (6 pts+ and worth everyone!)

IMG_3275

I LOVE how it makes your bread look bigger when you stand it up LOL….

IMG_3277

Snacks ~ an apple and CHEEEESE (2 pts+).

IMG_3284

Today flew by but I think it’s because I couldn’t wait to dig into my leftover Crock Pot Split Pea Soup a la Vicky! (7 points+)

IMG_3292

I think hearty soups NEEDS good bread.  2 slices Black Pepper Bleu Cheese Bread with 2 tsp whipped butter (5 points+)

IMG_3289

I LOVE this bowl….I think I NEED to guy buy a bunch…you know, um, for the blog. Open-mouthed smile

IMG_3293

The Husband declared a Monday “Date Night” tonight which included NO COOKING.  Um, you don’t have to twist my arm when I can have someone cook this for me ;)

IMG_6107

12 points+ and worth every HEAPING point.  I <3 Chipotle & their Guacamole!

You can calculate the nutritional information at Chipotle Fan for any combination at Chipotle – then calc the points+ – LOVE it!

IMG_6106

* Lettuce (0)

* Fajita Veggies (0)

* Chicken (5)

* Pico de Gallo (0)

* Corn Salsa (1)

* A little cheese (less than a serving) (2)

* GUACAMOLE! (4)

After downing EVERYTHING, we headed over to Costco to do a little shopping.

I pretty much fell IN LOVE with the newest 405 CX Garmin they have….I WANT IT!

It’s so much smaller than mine, WIRELESS and cheap too $219!

IMG_3297

*sigh* No, I didn’t get it…..but I want it still Winking smile

Q’S:

1.  What is ONE thing on your Christmas List or not, that you totally want???

Mine is definitely the Garmin, my lunch bowls, another Kitchen Aid Bowl and probably like every Kitchen Aid attachment.

Can’t wait for the BIGGEST LOSER FINALE TOMORROW NIGHT – GO ADA!!!!

Night all!

    that Garmin looks awesome… 🙂

    I *SO* want Ada to win BL tomorrow!! (you KNOW she’ll get voted to be the third…)

    I really don’t have any BIG wants this year… because I want to buy a new house, and we’re looking, so… I want to put (save) everything towards that. so… what do I really want this year? just to have an awesome time with my family. … and then to eventually find the perfect house. 😀

    I haven’t seen the new Garmin but it looks great! Does it happen to have a velcro wrist band? Because I definitely need my next Garmin to be velcro. I’ve already went through 3 straps in less than a year.

    Does the winning lottery ticket count as a present? lol! Not having to struggle all the time would be a dream. OK .. back to reality. How ’bout a KitchenAid mixer? That would be awesome.

    I want a Porteen Gear bag for my DSLR this Christmas. She’s done doing custom orders for the holiday so I’ll order it (from Santa) in Jan!

    I actually don’t have anything on my list, I don’t really need anything. I could use another new pair of shoes, but I didn’t ask for them.

    I’ve had a 405 for a while and it’s great, with the exception of the HRM being inaccurate, which is annoying. That and you HAVE to keep it locked if you sweat at all, or it’ll go nuts

    I so totally want a folding bike…. and I’m getting one! The hubby ordered for me for Xmas yesterday. He’s getting (read: *we*) an XBOX/Kinect w/ 2 games (sports for him & dance for me!).

    Other than that, we are trying hard (or maybe hardly?) to save for our trip to Morocco in Feb/March. It’s time to go visit his family there…. I would like to look about 20 lbs less and I’m almost halfway there! 30lbs would be dreamy, but I’m not pushing it. 🙂

    My Christmas wish??? A Canon Rebel DSLR. I know I’m not getting that this year, but who knows, if I’m a good girl in 2011, Santa may bring it next year! 🙂 Have a great day.

    I don’t do Christmas list for myself, in-laws asked for a wish list and DH told them bath gel and lotion…. sounds good to me. Danica, love your site.

    The thing that I would love the most is a puppy. But, that’s not going to happen. So, I guess what I want most is just time with my family. I don’t need anything except a new pair of running shoes. I just want time with my family and good food. I want this Christmas to be all about the reason we celebrate it: Christ. He’s the ultimate present! Merry Christmas!

    I hate to ruin your love of Chipolte, however.. fajita veggies have a point per serving and the corn salsa has 2 points per serving… beware of the hidden points. I love chipolte!
