I used to wing it, but ever since returning to work 2 weeks ago after having my first baby, I have discovered how important it is for me to do some meal planning. I don’t have time to shop during the week or to cook on some evenings, so planning ahead and doing as much as possible on weekends is a necessity.

Yea, I bought this plan when she first started it. LOVE IT! My husband is out of town alot and this plan makes it so easy for me to eat healthy every night. Then I can’t wait for him to come home and try all the yummy things. I would love to win this to give to my daughter. I know they would love the plan also.
I do plan my dinners not really my lunches or breakfast..I plan 2 weeks of dinners cause I shop every 2 weeks…I do go back for fresh fruit and veggies as needed.

I buy what I think we will use for the week, but there are often changes in what I end up doing with the chicken, beef,etc. Since we are both retired now, our schedule is not so set in stone.
Told the daughter to check this out as she has recovered from back surgery and running and trying to follow a healthy diet.
I always plan my meals! My husband doesn’t plan and I just can’t wrap my head around the whole “winging it” method. How do you know what you need at the store? It drives me crazy and I have since decided that my husband is not allowed to go grocery shopping 😛 I tell him to go pick up one thing and he comes home with a couple bags!!

I try to plan but by get so overwhelmed I end up winging it before I am even at the grocery! Ugh.I hate to say it but healthy meal planning and shopping is one the things that stresses me out the most.

I have a general outline and then I try to follow it.
Busy schedules makes our family pretty much winging it. I do lay out what I have on hand, and try to pick from that list when the time allows. Thanks for this opportunity!!
Wow! This would be cool to have!! I’m more of a 50/50. Plan 50 pct and wing the other 50. I do almost always have healthy good options even on the wing it nights! We call those the “find something” nights! ????
I take out a couple packages of meat from the freezer for a couple of days and then when I’m at worked all day I think of something new or
go with easy.
I plan our meals for a month at a time. There is some room for adjustment if something comes up, but I find that I save so much time and money by doing it this way. It is a Sunday afternoon project once a month! Would love to have help with this to save me even more time!

Between the two. I cook up several different meals on the weekend. Then through the week, I just pull from the stash. Sometimes it is pretty fun because you can mix and match and it is not the original meal that you ate.
I also told my boyfriend about it because dude could take some serious advantage of a healthy meal plan hahaha.

I recently rejoined Weight Watchers. When I first joined I had great success & planned every meal ahead of time. It worked great for me! I’m having trouble getting back in the swing of it this time & this would help me out so much!
I have to plan my meals each week, not only to stay on “point” but otherwise I woulsn;t have anything in the house to cook.

I actually try to plan it on a monthly basis but give myself the freedom to change meals out if something comes up later in the month. I’ve found for me it takes a lot less time overall to do it once a month instead of each week.

I shop every day for just what we need for that day, so I am winging it. We just moved to NYC and it’s working for me since we have a Whole Foods 1 block away!
I told all my WW girlfriends by email. I love to cook my own meals and I LOVE this idea.
I mostly wing it, but I do try to have a few ideas in mind and get groceries knowing we will be making a few certain meals during the week, but I don’t specifically plan each day.
I always plan my breakfast. lunch and snacks–really working on planning dinners.
I meal plan on Saturday and grocery shop for the entire week on Sunday. Sadly, my mood and appetite change by the end of the week, and I’m winging it by Wednesday! What a great giveaway. Experimenting with someone else’s recipes rather than the “old standards” might be a great way to stay focused on the plan!!

Wow! This looks awesome! I have three kiddos and my husband, so when I grocery shop its for two weeks at a time. I write down all the planned meals first then I go through each meal and write down what I have to purchase and check the pantry against what i have to purchase before I write it down and there is my list. Then each time I make one of the meals I cross it off the list! It is fairly organized but here is my issue . . . I am the only one in the family on WW so I struggle to make meals that EVERYONE will like. I end up not getting to eat dinner with my family or eating a salad while they get something yummy, I need help!!!
I can plan with no issue but I need meal ideas and someone to help me with meals that will fit the whole family but are still healthy!!

I am a HUGE planner……but life has gotten busy and overwhelming as of late and winning this give-a-way would be SUCH a BLESSING! Not only do I struggle with my own weight on a daily basis, my Dear Hubby was diagnosed with PAD this week and facing by-pass surgery in the coming days. I truly have been trying to plan out my meals. For example, this week, I made a breakfast casserole for the mornings. My dinners are mostly all planned. I usually shop on Saurday or Sunday for the weeks meals. The only meal I have a hard time planning is lunch.

I plan a weekly menu with at least three new recipes that I pull from my collection of WW bloggers (Danica you were my first discovery) and WW etools. I have a notebook with the recipe names, where I found it, point value and husbands comments (do again or do different) and weight loss for the week. I make my grocery list from the menu.

Ive always been a winger at meals but would like to be a planner especially with the small kids!
I always plan my meals and grocery list. I try a different kind each trip (clean eating, hungry girl, crock pot etc).planning is my attempt at healthy eating but to have it done for ne and not hafta scour the internet and cookbooks would make my life super easy. With s newborn I need all the help I can get. Thank you!

I love this idea. I have done meal planning in the past but have fallen off doing it. This inspires me to do it again.

I told my daughters about this site, Two have done WW with great success before but don’t have time now to menu plan and shop wisely since they are full-time students away at college, and one is also married now. I hope this will help them to cook healthy meals for themselves and roommates/husband.
I tend to plan it out, but I only follow it about 50%
