As a kid I once got to ride in a weinermobile in Norfolk, VA! Back before there were Malls we had shopping centers, and the OMWM [Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile] sat up at the local shopping center and my classroom went on a field trip to visit it. There was a weinie roast in the parking lot, and several of us got to ride in the weinermobile in the parking lot. [Somewhere I’m sure I have a photo of this event! I’ll have to dig through and see if I can find it.] This was about 1965 or 1966. What fun!
For some reason my dh gets a kick out of wienermobile. Since I work at the headquarters we see a fair amount of it. I haven’t seen someone IN one in a long time but they wore some goofy outfit with hats years ago.

I had the picture of when the weiner moblie crashed into someone’s house!! I would have yelled.. ” Hey a big weiner crashed into my house!!” LMAO
