On our second day in Las Vegas, we cooked our breakfast in with eggs, “fried” potatoes and our Farmers Market berries. These berries are so sweet, crisp and good.We decided to get in our steps in a cool way. After taking the shuttle, we walked about a 1/2 a mile to the Fashion Show Mall. This mall has 3 levels so it was super easy to rack up steps while doing a bit of shopping too.
Lunch was at the Kona Grill.
We started with these chicken and Shrimp lettuce wraps. Sweet, gingery and a little spicy. I had 3.I picked the Oriental Salad for lunch with the dressing on the side and added zero point shrimp. The sweet sesame soy dressing was about the only thing which had any points. I’d definitely order this again. The rest of the afternoon was spent reading, relaxing, staying cool and maybe napping a little before we headed out for dinner. We headed down to Old Town (Fremont Street) to gamble and have dinner at the Chart House.
We sat next to this aquarium where I “almost” felt a little guilty ordering fish watching the fish swim around.I started with the Chopped Salad shared with The Husband. I also feel proud I had only 1 warm dinner roll.I ordered the Macadamia Nut crusted Mahi Mahi topped with Mango salsa and peanut sauce. It is served with Mango Rice and sesame green beans. I love this dish and ate about 2/3 of it.
The advantage of eating with fast eaters is I often look up and see they are done so it’s my que that I must be full too š lol.I had a couple of bites of the community key lime pie to finish with a sweet bite.Catching Up:
