Hi everyone! Thanks for all the welcome back and congrats on my loss messages this past week. Today was packed with delicious eats, a WW lesson learned and a little spicy fun. I’ve also posted our Weekly Menu below too.
I love Aidells sausages. You get 2 oz for 3 SP and 3 oz for 4 SP, so you guessed it, I went with 3 oz! I just have to say what I was thinking all day. I made Chili when it’s chilly outside and I worked on my Chile ( Latin America) budget for work today lol.
I was also reminded today why I calculate the points on a recipe before making it or even buying the box. I might’ve only had 2 mini corn muffins or skipped them entirely for 3 SP each. That being said they were delicious and worth it…Counted and moving on.
Snap Eats:
B: 1 egg + 1 egg white scramble (2 SP), 4 Aidells Chicken Apple Breakfast Sausages (4 SP), 1/4 c organic blueberries
S: Starbucks Tall Nonfat Cappuccino w caramel on top only (2 SP)
L: Left over Chicken Pot Pie (7 SP), Salad tossed with lemon olive oil & balsamic (1 SP)
S: 3 celery sticks topped w 1 Tbsp almond butter (3 SP), 1 cutie
D: 1 svg Slow Cooker Turkey & Vegetable Chili topped w onion, sweet peppers, tomato, cilantro and 1 Tbsp RF cheese (5 SP), 3 mini honey cornbread muffins (9 SP)
My spicy fun included making up a big batch of Homemade Taco Seasoning today. It is super easy to make. I love it and use it in everything…Plus my friends benefit as I give them jars too since it makes a ton.
Here is what’s on the menu this week:
* Burgers with crispy cauliflower
* Shrimp Tacos with crunchy slaw
* BBQ Pork, fries, brocollini
* Baked Pasta, Salad
What’s on your menu this week?
Night all!

Could you tell me how to calculate points for a recipe.
DanicasDaily says
Hi Ann,
I calculate points for a recipe in 1 of 3 ways.
1. Using the Weight Watchers Recipe builder online or in the WW app.
https://cmx.weightwatchers.com/nui/recipe-builder2
2. Calculating nutrition facts at caloriecount.com (it’s free), Copy and paste in ingredients, servings and then calculate points.
3. Add up the points for all the ingredients and divide the total by the number of servings.
Thanks for asking,
Danica
