Happy Monday all! I love getting fun mail, especially when it involves cute shoes! Have you ever heard of or better yet, do you wear Fibi & Clo New York shoes? One of my long time followers works for Fibi & Clo selling these fashionable shoes. She absolutely loves all the pairs she owns and asked me to try them out knowing I’d fall in love too.
I love all the super cute sandals but ended up picking these cute flats for work. They provide a shoe back to carry or store your shoes which is a great personal touch.
What I love about them is you do not have to break them in at all. No blisters and I can totally walk everywhere around downtown comfortably.
It doesn’t hurt that they are adorable and I’ve received so many compliments asking where I got them. For those wondering, simply click here to check out their entire shoe line.
I mixed up breakfast this morning with this Nature’s Path Multi Grain flakes.
I do not pick cereal for breakfast often because let’s be honest – it’s super points expensive. When I do eat it, I pick bran or multi grain flakes because they come in at 3 Smartpoints a serving and have a real ingredient list.
I usually steal a little of The Husband’s cereal to make it fun to eat. 8 grams Crunch Berries = 1 Smartpoint.
Then I bulk it up with fruit & 1/2 cup fat free milk for staying power (otherwise I’m hungry like an hour later). My 6 Smartpoint bowl.
It lasted me about 4 hours and I was starving. I decided to snack on a nectarine and Light String Cheese before heading to my Monday working lunch to keep my portions in check.
We shared chips & guacamole that came topped with a grilled corn salsa that was amazing. (7 sp).
I had one Chicken Salad Taco – cotija cheese, avocado, pico de gallo, chopped romaine, garlic aioli, cilantro & salsa picante (6 sp)
It’s made with this super moist organic rotisserie chicken you can see roasting and a fresh corn tortillas made right in front of you.
Dessert was at Three Twins – I had a split scoop of coconut & cherry chocolate on a sugar cone. Totally not part of my plan for the day but worth every Smartpoint on a 110 degree day. (10 sp).
I was starving working late (6 hours after lunch) and had this Spindrift and pluot to tied me I’ve.
Dinner was fast as we had some last minute birthday gift shopping to do for his mom.
4 Aidells Teriyaki Chicken & Pineapple Meatballs (4 sp), 1)3 cup Trader Joe’s Organic Brown Rice (2 sp), 1 Svg Parmesan Squash (1 sp)
40 Daily Smartpoints, 17K steps – definitely a higher point day with my ice cream but I’m proud that I’m keeping it real tracking it all and that I finally got back to my 1 hour AM walk today. (Definitely an 80/20 kinda day)
Night all!
those Aidell’s products are my new favorite meal. really quite healthy and tasty!
