Happy Monday all! Thank you all for the congrats on my weight loss to date and sharing your thoughts on yesterday’s post. I love hearing from you all and being able to share my daily adventures. It definitely motivates me and helps knowing we are all in this together.
I picked up some delicious berries this weekend at the farmers market that I couldn’t wait to dive into. I couldn’t decide which to have with breakfast so we had them all. I think the blueberries are my favorite.
I was super happy when I found out today’s? working lunch would involve sushi! I was also totally starving by the time we got there so I asked for Edamame to share and keep me from ordering everything on the menu. I bulked up lunch with a delicious side salad so I’d be content with my 8 pieces (half the below). I left lunch feeling very satisfied and made sure I took the long way back to the office to get in extra steps.
I had planned to make these Better Than A Big Mac Burgers for dinner. After I saw the beautiful salad The Husband made, I knew I wanted to trade my bun in and have a burger salad. The result was actually really tasty and I didn’t miss the bun at all.

without even knowing what’s in it, if I saw something called “Ricky Ricardo on vacation” on a menu, I would absolutely be ordering it. With that said…I’d love to know what was in it.

Hi Anne,
It’s so good and a must for me. I count the Ricky Ricardo on vacation roll like a roll with tempura shrimp in it. It has Tempura Shrimp inside, Hamachi, Maguro, Crab, Green Onions, Topped with Sesame Sauce & Tobiko
Thanks for asking,
Danica

I love seeing your daily eats! It helps me realize that I should never feel deprived if I keep my menu as creative as your’s is. Also love seeing that even a daily Starbucks can be a reality! Thank you so much and keep up the great work. Hugs from Tennessee!

Thanks Melissa – that’s very true. I definitely think mixing things up and finding ways to fit in the foods you love is key. There are so many ways to fit in Starbucks…Nonfat milk, only one or two pumps, a little caramel drizzle 🙂
