Daily Snap: Pizzaiola

April 5, 2017 by DanicasDaily 11 Comments

Hi all! I wanted to thank you all for sharing your thoughts on my new layout. I’m pretty exciting to make a few updates. Probably about as excited as you all were over the chocolate peanut butter eggs lol. Today was a super busy and stressful work day but I am proud that managed to stay on track.

Breakfast was simple but delicious. I took the long way to and from lunch so I could get in a little walk along the way. I didn’t devour all the chips and was so satisfied with my salad. I could eat plates of that grilled shrimp!

Dinner was another Blue Apron recipe that I’m totally saving. I loved how you got a little cheese in every bite and that Pizzaiola (Sweet Pepper Sauce) paired so well with the crispy pork chop.

The Husband asked me if this meal counted as Italian to which I said, Absolutely it has “Pizzaiola” sauce. I’m pretty sure he didn’t believe me lol.

Daily Snap Recap:

B: 1 scrambled egg (2 SP), Trader Joe’s Sweet Maple Chicken Apple Sausage (4 SP), 1/2 cup strawberries

S: Tall Nonfat Cappuccino with caramel on top (2 SP)

L: @Don Perico 12 chips broken into pieces for more dipping with salsa (4 SP), Grilled Shrimp Salad with a little salsa ranch on the side and no shell (5 SP)

S: Dirty Americano (1 SP), Trader Joe’s Lite string cheese (2 SP), 1/2 cup blueberries

D: Blue Apron Fontina Cheese Stuffed Pork Chops with Pizzaiola Sauce & 1/2 cup home fries (13 SP)

Thanks for the blue apron box!! I wasn’t crazy about the menus for the first few weeks so I’m trying it on the first week of May (stir fry beef and then rotisserie chicken). Will think of you as we eat them. Thanks again!!
