Daily Snap: Sanity over Vanity

Happy September all! Its a new month and another opportunity to get all blue dots in your tracker. I’m not sure if I have ever told you all this before but I exercise for “Sanity over Vanity”.  I find I’m the best version of myself each day I can fit in any activity and it really helps me deal with what life throws my way better. It doesn’t have to be a long run, spin class or intense workout. These days my favorite thing is my long walks. I have such a fun route that I love and it doesn’t hurt that I get to sometimes see cute duck families like these….

Today’s eats are not super exciting but they involved everything I wanted. We ended up heading out to Mary’s Pizza Shack for big salads since it was still over 100 degrees tonight.

B: Healthy Eggroll (Mission Extra Thin Yellow Corn Tortilla, Sargento RF cheddar, Fried Egg, Sriracha) – 5 sp

S: Grande iced Nonfat Latte with caramel on top (3 sp)

L: Trader Joe’s Reduced Guilt Mac & Cheese (8 sp), lite string cheese (2 sp), nectarine & pluot

S: Grande Coffee Light Frappuccino affogato (6 sp), plus 2 Tbsp cashews (3 sp)

D: 2 slices sourdough bread (3 sp), Large Mary’s House Salad with Shrimp & 2 Tbsp ranch (7 sp)

37 Daily Smartpoints, 17K steps (1 hour walk!)

Let the long weekend begin! Night all!

    Hi Danica, Is the affagato a Starbucks thing or your own creation? I love affagatos. I like that your choices pack a punch. I often pack a food trough of low point foods but now wonder if I’d be more satisfied with higher point options. Thanks
