Happy Monday all! Today I was back to work and really focusing on getting back into my healthy eating groove after vacation. I was pretty hungry all day so I tried my best to pick healthy snacks and did a decent job resisting a few temptations.
I had a work lunch today at Eikos in Napa. What does a person do when you have this huge sushi platter put on the table along with crispy tempura green beans and spicy curry potstickers?!
Well, I counted them out and allowed myself to go back 2.25 times lol. I know each piece of a raw fish sushi (think spicy tuna) is 1 SmartPoint and each piece of a tempura shrimp fried sushi is roughly 2 SmartPoints. I filled my plate with 5 pieces then I savored each one before refilling it again. I let my co-workers devour the rest but I did have 1 extra piece for good measure. My 7 green beans – worth it! The potsticker not so much.
What I’m proud of…Stopping when I was content, using my plate to count it all out including my green beans (great visual and awareness), resisting dessert and balancing it out with a healthy dinner a la The Husband.

37 Daily SmartPoints
Night all!

On the old PointsPlus, how many pts. is a cup of raison bran cereal? And, what cereal has the least amount of pts. on PointsPlus.
Thanks,
Joan
Hi Joan,
3 pointsplus or 5 SmartPoints a serving for Raisin Bran. The lowest points zero for pointsplus are puffed rice, fiber 1 and Bran flakes I believe.
Thanks,
Danica
Your daily posts showing your choices of healthy eating has motivated me to re-join Weight Watchers. I signed up online yesterday to get my monthly pass and going to meeting tonight. I went to grocery store over the weekend and bought lots of fruits and veggies and made several meals that I can easily heat up when I get home from work. When I plan, it makes it much easier. Thanks for the push I needed!
So cool Jo, you are going to do great!
