Hi all! How was your weekend and more importantly, what is on your menu this week? We had our first fall rain this past week and I’m totally digging the cooler weather. To kick off the cold weather, I whipped up a new soup recipe today that might just be one of the best soups I’ve ever made. Creamy white beans, spicy sausage and tons of veggies make for one hearty and simply filling soup. The recipe is coming up this week along with the post I eluded to you all last week.
For now, here is how the rest of today went down. I grabbed breakfast at the Alameda Antique Fair and we stopped for lunch at a new place on our way back called the Burger Lounge. I like that everything they serve is sustainable, mostly organic and delicious. I did have a bit of burger envy but enjoyed my salad with a few of his onion rings.

Your soup looks just like the one I made this past weekend in my crockpot 🙂 It was super yummy! I used Jennie-O Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage with the casings removed. It was even better the next day.
