Hi all! How has your weekend been treating you? We kicked off our weekend on Friday night with dinner at The House of Prime Rib. It was so delicious, fun and I had 2 glasses of Jax Cabernet – This might be my new favorite wine. I skipped WW (even though I had a good week), powered through my chores on Saturday and we relaxed watching movies the rest of the rainy day.
Today we were up early and out the door to head to the Sacramento Antique Faire. A lady there has these adorable 3 baby goats following her.This little one kept trying to follow me – so freakin’ cute!My stomach still wasn’t feeling too hot this morning so I settled on just a tall nonfat cappuccino with caramel on top for our drive (2 sp).After the fair, we stopped at Cafe Bernardo for brunch. I got the breakfast that I am totally addicted to.
Chicken apple sausage scramble sans cheese. I had only one piece of bread and gave The Husband my potatoes (7 sp).Late afternoon, I snacked on 1/2 oz cashews, a banana and coffee.I finally made the recipe I’ve been mentioning for a Healthy Instant Pot Lazy Lasagna. It was so easy and turned out so good.
I will add this to the list of recipes I owe you all. I know I am so behind on posting recipes but this week should be slower so I’ll start getting caught up.
What’s not to love about Hot Italian Sausage, garlic, herbs….Wine, spicy red sauce, big noodles….And a whole lotta cheesy goodness!While I cooked our fast lasagna (pressure cooking is only 4 minutes!) The Husband made us these beautiful salads.
I had mine topped with 1 Tbsp sunflower seeds and balsamic vinaigrette (2 sp).I totally should’ve taken a picture of the stringy cheese that happens with every bite. 1 cup is 8 WWFreestyle Smartpoints.22 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 9K steps….I might walk around the house to hit 10K
