Happy New Year all! I hope that 2019 turns out to be everything you want and more.
Are you making any New Year’s resolutions?
For this year’s New Year’s resolutions, I’ve decided to pick one per month focusing on an area I think I need or want to work on that month.
For January, my goal is to commit to 100% tracking each day to get back into eating with awareness after the post holiday grazing. Some things I’d like to include in this months goal – hitting every food group (protein, fruits, veggies, dairy, healthy fats and carbs).
Want to join me in my January tracking challenge?
For breakfast, we had scrambled eggs with roasted garlic mozzarella chicken sausage (4 sp). Before doing a bit of shopping, we stopped at Starbucks. Tall nonfat cappuccino with caramel on top (2 sp).We finished the last of the zero point Navy Bean and Ham Soup plus 1/2 serving goldfish (2 sp).We decided to have a low key New Year’s Eve that involves movies, games and snacks!
The Husband really wanted lil smokies so I compromised with these – you get 5 for only 2 Smartpoints.I put them in the mini crockpot with BBQ sauce, Frank’s Red Hot, mustard, and a little brown sugar.Plus easy heat & eat appetizers. The spread with a little bit of everything but not everything yet lol.
I love snacks and mini meals like this.I managed to save up 15 regular points so I could snack all night long before breaking into my weeklies.
I had the 2 snack plates below….I am totally in love with the Trader Joe’s Shrimp Duo Bites (you get 6 for 7 sp) and the mini lemon grass chicken rolls (2 for 3 sp).I told myself I had to grab veggies with each plate and that really helped to fill me up.24 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 4K steps
Let’s hope I can resist the German Chocolate Cake and eating more snacks. As of now, I am totally satisfied so the outlook is good.
Night all!

Thank you for the challenge! I have fallen away from tracking and gained some weight as a result. I am going to focus on tracking along with you. You should be proud of that weight loss during the holidays. NOT EASY! You inspire me!

Yay! I am so glad you are joining in. I really tried last week to start reeling myself in after a way too indulgent December. I am glad the scale showed it and have been using that as motivation this week. We got this – you’ve lost before and you can do it again….tracking one meal at a time!
