Hi all! That is exactly how long all of my meals took today….less than 10 minutes – talk about meals in minutes! I am actually really grateful for days like this because sometimes you just need a day filled with easy, delicious eats.
I had a 5 minute open faced eggwich with half a persimmon today for breakfast.
1 slice Nature’s Own Butter Bread topped with 1/2 Tbsp whipped butter, a fried egg and sriracha salt (3 sp).I really wanted a Starbucks today so I went with it and probably got too excited that I got a green cup today.
Tall nonfat dirty latte (nonfat latte with 1 pump mocha) – 5 Smartpoints.Despite the pouring rain, I kept my commitment and headed to the gym for a 35 minute jog/walk.
?I pulled out one of my frozen Zero Point Turkey Taco Soup containers for lunch today. 3 minutes….Topped with 1 Smartpoint of cheese (1/2 oz Trader Joe’s Lite Mexican cheese) and something bright/festive – green onions, cilantro and fresh tomatoes.Then crunch – 1 package Chili Cheese Fritos (5 sp). This soup totally hit the spot and was completely satisfying.I decorated my office a little but today including lights all around 😀 I snacked in a banana late afternoon.Dinner tonight took less than 10 minutes. All I had to do was stirfry the veggies for 5-7 minutes, heat the Trader Joe’s Organic Frozen Jasmine Rice and the grilled teriyaki chicken I cooked last night.
My teriyaki chicken bowl has 4 oz Teriyaki Chicken breast, 1/2 cups rice and 1/2 cup broccolini with toasted sesame seeds (4 sp).18 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 11K steps
