Back at it & This Weeks Menu

Hi all! How was your long weekend? Our week in Aruba was fantastic and it was great to be home a few days to get settled back in. As much as we have had fun the past few months with our travels, I am so ready to get back into my routine. I am beginning my back on track challenge today!

The other thing I am excited about – getting a new Google Pixel 3 – how I missed my phone!  Now I have every reason to snap, track and share my dailies.

We kicked off our day with 3 Smartpoint breakfast burritos.

1.5 eggs, 1/2 oz reduced fat Mexican cheese, La Tortilla Light Flour Tortillas and hot sauce.  I added 1/2 a persimmon for good measure.We grabbed Starbucks on our way to start our Christmas shopping. I had a tall nonfat cappuccino with caramel on the top. (2 sp)For lunch, we stopped at Vasquez for tacos. I had 2 crunchy chicken tacos for 10 Smartpoints.?

I love these tacos – shredded chicken, salsa, lettuce,  cheese, tomato and a whole lotta crunch!The Husband peeled 3 pomegranates for us for the week so I sampled some while decorting our house.My favorite thing is our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree that our nephews gave us several years ago. They actually snuck into our house with The Husband’s mom to put it up for us….so every year since, I put it up 🙂The weather this weekend has been super nice in the mid 60’s and sunny so we decided to grill.

I cooked up this Bill Bailey’s Carne Asada to make burritos.

I feel proud of the fact I started with 1 burrito to see if I needed 2. I was satisfied so I never went back for more – success!1 La Tortilla Light Flour Tortilla, 1/2 oz Mexican blend cheese, 3 oz Carne Asada, lettuce, tomato, cilantro, green onions, 1/8 avocado, jalapenos, hot sauce…All wrapped up for 8 Smartpoints.

I added 1/2 cup Fat Free chili lime refried beans for zero point protein staying power.23 Daily WWWFreestyle Smartpoints, 10K steps

HERE IS WHAT IS ON THE MENU THIS WEEK:

  • Teriyaki chicken rice bowls with broccolini
  • WW Sesame Like Chicken Salad
  • WW Sausage & Kale Pasta
  • Buffalo Chicken Wraps or salad
  • Dinner out
