Do you Aaptiv?

January 3, 2019 by DanicasDaily 4 Comments

Hi all! I have so many cool things to share with you all today. How many of you WW’s knew that you get AAptiv for free with your WW membership? Pretty cool, right?!

I finally headed out in the cold today to get in a walk and try one of the AAptiv walking workouts. I picked a low intensity “Walking to the Beat”. The music isn’t bad, the guy is super energetic but I liked his comments. The way he kept telling me to dance as I walked made me think that’s only what they do in public in movies lol. I did like the speed intervals and how they let you know the halfway point in case you want to turn around.

Before my lunchtime walk, I kicked off my day with a healthy Eggroll and 1/2 an orange (3 sp).I grabbed a tall nonfat cappuccino with caramel on top on my drive in (2 sp).

After my walk, I warmed up with this 3 Smartpoint Kale, Butternut and Sausage soup I pulled from the freezer.I satisfied my salty snack craving with 2 Tbsp pistachios (2 sp).Late afternoon as my guy coworkers were sharing their protein meal replacement bars, I  grabbed my Instant Pot Hard Boiled Egg.

I cannot believe how easy it was to peel my egg – it’s like the shell just slid off.I think I’ll increase the time to 7 minutes to get it perfectly hard boiled all the way.We decided to make a version these Sweet Potato BLTA nachos for dinner tonight.

I sliced my first potato pieces too thin so I decided to use those pieces up to make Microwave Chips.

OMG, you all have to try these – they are crispy like real chips not the baked healthy taste and take 5 minutes to make.

Thinly slice your potato – enough to cover 1 dinner plate, toss in 1 tsp oil and a little sea salt. Spray plate with non-stick spray and add potatoes in a single layer. Microwave for 3-5 minutes or more until brown. Remove and crunch away.

Simply count 1 point for the oil then the potato points (1 oz = 1 point).I actually only got a taste because The Husband devoured them lol. I must make them again.

My BLTA nachos plate came in at 8 WWFreestyle Smartpoints. Here is what’s on my plate:

  • 3 oz homemade sweet potato chips
  • 1 oz 2% Sharp cheddar
  • 2 pieces Trader Joe’s Bacon
  • Lettuce, tomatoes, green onion
  • 0% Greek Yogurt drizzle
  • Hot Sauce

Delicious!19 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 10K steps

I am pondering a snack but not sure what yet….roll forward points may or may not happen.

Night all!

Did you use your wellness wins for the app or is there a free option I missed?

      Hi Liz,

It’s actually free and on the front page of the WW app right below the daily article on your phone. It has a bold title saying Get Active.

      Thanks for asking,

      Danica
