Happy Friday all! A few years back The Husband made a DIY Homemade Christmas tree out of a wood pallet they had at work. We both love it and it’s one of my favorite decorations to put out each year. This year, we decided to send a little Christmas cheer and surprise two of our good friends with their very own wooden pallet Christmas Tree. We didn’t tell them we were doing this as we wanted it to be a surprise when they walked out their door.
We brainstormed ideas, shopped, sawed, painted and created this Charlie Brown Tree making sure to add Christmas Lights right before we delivered it. We almost got busted on the drive to their house when we got a phone call so we had to make up a story we were on our way to dinner at 4 pm and two towns over at a restaurant we never eat at LOL….luckily they didn’t catch on, especially when I didn’t know what I’d order!
We created a drop and run plan with me in the car, engine on, around the corner ready to drive away and him running to drop the tree at their door. We honked like mad people on our drive away hoping they’d come outside to look. Yes, we are crazy! But, it was so worth it. Their reaction 30 minutes later when going to get the mail still has us smiling – so fun!
The Husband gets all the credit for this tree…He even hand painted little decorations on the wooden ornaments and glossed the tree with glitter. I love that boy!
Todays eats were not fancy but they all hit the spot. One interesting thing for me with WWFreestyle is I’m actually eating less (less pictures) but I feel Fuller all day long. I feel pretty good about how my first week went and I’m looking forward to weigh in tomorrow AM.
The other awesome thing about today – I hit 5 out of 5 days working out for 50-55 minutes on the treadmill! Success!
